Swype Issue

does swype 3 beta work by just installing it? Or are we stuck at HTC's mercy for these updates (when it gets official)?

I had the same issues with sype, i ended up doing a hard reset after the system updates, and no i'm glitch free.. you might also try clearing the cache for the swype app.

My Swype trace had disappeared, but it came back when I switched to the stock keyboard and back to Swype.

I'm actually giving HTC Trace a try. So when I do decide to type I can, and when I want to "Swype" I can. Swype sucks as a regular keyboard, and lately, even as a swype keyboard
