I recently lost a hard drive in my computer, luckily for me it was not the drive with all of our family photos on it! But it was a wakeup call for me. I also am the Treasurer of a Non Profit and about the same time we were challenged to create a document storage policy for our board. Both of these things got me looking into the Cloud for solutions (our non profit does not have a physical location, the cloud is ideal!)

What I found was a bunch of players I had not heard of before, or at least had not looked into them before. I use my Ubuntu One account, but that does not sync well to my windows partition and I havn't tried with my Android.

After reading a few posts here and here on Android Central, I did not see an option that would also work for the non profit as we need to be able to share files and folders, and depending on what the content it, we need to be able to limit access to certain things.

All of that said, I have found a solution that rocks! Check out SugarSync. Right now their free account comes with 5Gb of storage (5.5 Gb with the link above), and you can earn additional storage by going thru their "Getting Started" section. It walks you thru uploading files, sharing files & folders, Posting pictures right to Facebook that you have backed up, shows you that you can even email files to be backed up... pretty good set of features.

The bonus? You can post a public link (25MB max with a free account, 2Gb max file size max with a paid account) for people to download without the need to sign up or wait like Rapid Share.

Thru the end of December they have also doubled their Referral Bonus, earn up to 10Gb free space with each referral! (500Mb free to refer a free account, 10 Gb free space when you refer a paid account!)

Paid accounts start at $4.99/month or $49.99/year for 40Gb of space with this link.
Free Accounts get you 5.5Gb of storage right now with this link, plus earn 250Mb once you go thru the tutorial for the mobile app.

And finally, thru the end of December you can earn unlimited bonus space! Normally bonus space is maxed out at 100Gb, that cap is off during December!

Let me know what you think, or share any other options that you have found out there. Thanks all!!
