Sync is Currently experiencing Problems- Will be back shortly

Ok, for months now, when I try to sync my Samsung account it tells me the above message....anyone else getting this?
Anyone know how I can fix it?
 
I had this problem with my HTC desire while I was trying to synch my contacts to my gmail account. I cleared off a load of data and cache from other apps, like internet, and that freed up enough memory for the synch to work again.
