sync manager hanging (large music library)

I have a large itunes library (over 250 Gigs). Sync manager seems to work ok (it took a while to load my library... 30 mins or so, but it finished). However, when I connect my HTC One, sync manager freezes. Does anyone know if this is due to the size of my itunes library, or some other issue

I too have a large music library and experienced the same problems...Figured it was a problem with the quantity of music. However, I ditched the HTC app and started using iSyncr for my music. Works simply and well, and doesn't try to create its own media library in the app

iSyncr is truly the best choice for syncing music libraries? It's clunky for me. I tried Google Music and it seemed like a huge hassle (having to pin all music to the device.. YUCK!)

Any other suggestions?

On subject, is there any way to keep the songs in the order of the album? Also, on the device, is there any way to not have "the" be factored into the alphabetical order of the artist? Ex. "The Beatles" is under "T" for "The".
