Sync "my local profile" with my Google account info?

Hello all, I'm new here. Windows Phone user coming through!!!

I just received my Sony Xperia XZ1.

I want to setup my info in the contact "my local profile" by synchronizing it with my Google account's info.

In the contacts app > menu > my info > view linked contacts > I can see 2 contacts:
- My locally saved contact profile: I think this contact is to set my info manually on my phone.
- My contact profile : I think the data here should come from the info I set up online in my Google account, right? So how can I make it sync with my Google account?

I found this thread from 2014 : https://android.stackexchange.com/q...droid-local-profile-back-to-my-google-account , but the info seems outdated. I downloaded the Google + app v9.23 but I don't find the options mentioned.

You can share the contacts thru email to yourself. Then import the vcf into your phone.

Thanks dpham00 but that's not what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to make the contact "my local profile" to reflect the personal info I put online on my google account
