I bought a SGT this weekend, and I am trying to sync it with my Droid Charge. I have a ton of pics and music files that I'd like to transfer over to my GST. I bought the USB adaptor and plugged my Charge into it, but the GST doesn't seem to recognize my phone at all. Is what I'm trying even possible? Is there an easier way to do this? I actually thought that the GST would easily recognize another Samsung android device...

Suggestions, please. Thanks!

There are apps that will allow you to transfer files via Bluetooth or WiFi.
I use the app Bluetooth File Transfer to move files to and from my Tablet and Android phone.
Be sure to install the app on both devices.

or, make sure your Droid is set up to act as a disk drive when connected to USB. Under Settings, I have a "Connect to PC" menu item where this setting resides, and it allows me to use file management apps to copy files..

This does not work with my phone.
I will get the High-powered device via USB warning.

I have this option selected, and the tab does not recognize my Droid. Period.

The ONLY time I have ever gotten any response from my tab, when my Droid was connected, I received the exact same message. Idk wtf it means...
