Sync Samsung Vibrant Calendar to Samsung S3 calendar?

So apparently, I had the Vibrant for 2 years and didn't realize that you could sync your calendar to google in some way. I realize that I'm not very advanced regarding the tech stuff when it comes to phones, I get that. But now, I have my calendar on my Vibrant which I use all the time so I have tons and tons of stuff on there... and an empty calendar on my Samsung S3. How do I get one calendar to the other - is it even possible? And if so, can you tell me how?

How do you actually sync it with google, and more importantly, how do I actually find it on google?

I swear, I don't know when I got too old to figure out this stuff, LOL... and I'm not even 40 yet! So any help would be much appreciated

To give further information, I have found now that I have had only the "my calendar" app checked on my Vibrant and not the gmail calendar... is it still possible to transfer the info from the vibrant to the s3 or is now hopeless?

If you still have service on the Vibrant you may be able to sync with the google servers and then back to the S3. If not you can use Samsung Kies, it should be able to transfer from one to the other.
