Sync Software Issues

i am having alot of trouble trying to find the correct software for my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4G to sync up with my pc, i have downloaded the latest version of kies software ver 2.0 as well as an older version ive also installed kies mini and when ever i try and connect my phone to try and sync with my pc or laptop it just says to me that the version of kies im using is not supported. my Pc is Windows XP and my Laptop is windows Vista 32bit ive tried re-installing the programs thinking maybe there is an issue ive even cleaned out the registry to do a fresh installation but i still get nowhere with the kies.
