I just changed phones (Moto G to LG G2). I used a note app called ColorNote (with the Moto G) and had it synced to my gmail account hoping when I changed phones my notes would simply copy to my new phone. So far no luck. What can I do to restore (or copy) to my new phone? BTW, I still have the Moto G and both phones are on my home wifi. Thanks!

You could use Helium to back up the app's data, then restore it on the LG*, but if you have Sync app data checked in your Moto, it should save to the cloud, and if you have it checked in the LG it should sync back to the LG.

*1) If a phone isn't rooted, Helium will give you a link to go to, to download a file to put on the PC. Then you have to connect the phone to the PC and run Helium, and it'll get its permission to run from that file.

2) Once you back up the data (to any apps you want to transfer to the LG), find the folder named carbon (Helium's old name), copy that folder to the same place on the LG, run Helium on the LG (see #1), and restore the data you want.

Thanks!! You reminded me I have not signed in to sync the LG. I did so and my notes loaded immediately. Thanks a lot! :)
