Syncing issues on backup restore on rooted GB

Yesterday I had issues when I installed the new Swype beta on my Droid X (something I have done with previous builds of GB) and I decided to restore a backup through ClockworkRecovery. When my phone finally powered on my Gmail was no longer syncing. Any thing I did from my computer or my phone did not register with the other. I tried to do a factory reset but that didn't seem to fix the issue, plus its a reset, which is annoying. Any ideas?

Did you try clear data and cache after system restore..
