Synergy question.

Hey guys. I'm a noob.
2 questions. I'm on the latest synergy 1.7 build and I'm digging it so far. My first question is about kernels. Did the ROM I flashed come with a good kernel or should I flash a better one? Is there a better kernel to flash for synergy? Trinity? My second question is about the battery icon. I know I'm probably in the minority here but I prefer the stock battery icon as opposed to the one that comes with synergy. Any way I can change the battery icon?

Go to xda-devolpers and go to themes sub forum on the Verizon version. Thisiskindacrap made a thread called kinda crap mods. They have very nice stock looking accurate battery icons that you flash. I don't really remember if it works on synergy though so be careful.

Synergy comes with a custom kernel that works pretty well. Trinity should be fine but I would wait to flash Trinity since many people where experiencing bootloops and other issues so far with his kernels. Generally trinity is great, but right now its still in very alpha phases. I would consider flashing CleanKernel. I had that one and it was great for battery life and performance.

As far as the battery icons go, I don't know I never ran Synergy long enough to tinker with it but I am sure there are mods out there on XDA.
