I have the 16GB version which I have recently purchased and just done the 5.0 update. I have a few apps no music or photos as yet.
I see I have only 8.32GB left to use, the system data alone takes 4.86GB, which is over a quarter of the total 16GB!

I realise some apps, music, pics etc can be put on the SD card, think I should have gone for the 32GB version!

Yes, I have the same version, bought last July, and see that I have 7.77GB left, so you're ahead of me.

Just get an SD card they are relatively cheap nowadays.

I have a 32GB SD card installed, its just the near 5GB needed just for the operating system seems excessive.
