Has anyone got the RCS chat feature to work with Samsung messages app?

I want Samsung message to work, I'm not a fan of Google messages.

I have went through the normal trouble shooting tips with Samsung and Verizon upto factory reset twice. Any one know what else to do?

Just remeber Google LLC uses Jibe Mobile if that matters to any one.
I switch all the time from using it,Can make data

Ok , in Google message turn chat features off and then choose Samsung message app as default , once messages populated there clear Samsung message app data then force stop it

I downloaded Google messages for trouble shooting to make sure phone would work with rcs.

Deleted Google messages and only have the Samsung message app. Cleared cache and cleared data. Factory reset twice. Still does not work. Get following message,

1) Advanced Messaging may not be available if you're on a corporate or government account. Contact the account administrator if you have more questions.

2) You may have a feature that blocks messaging enabled for your phone number.You'll need to turn off this feature in order to be updated to Advanced Messaging. You can either manage these settings through My Verizon or by giving us a call at 800-922-0204.

You'll continue with standard messaging if you can't be updated to Advanced Messaging.

Ok to recap , this not a work phone correct? This is definitely the Samsung message app not Verizon plus?

Hmm, woke up this morning and Samsung messages has RCS chat features enabled and working.
