System update on Verizon 06-27-17

Got a system update this morning on Verizon. Security update and a number of bug fixes.

the update fixed an annoying issue introduced with the 7.0 update: the screen would turn back on every few seconds during phone calls, after the power button was pressed to turn off the screen. the only workaround was to go from the call screen to the home screen; then press POWER. it has been fixed with today's Verizon update.
