They had this deal back at launch and I missed out on it. I've been patiently waiting since. Now that it's back I'm seriously considering ditching Verizon for T-Mobile and upgrading my 2XL and my wife's 3a. She just wants the 6 but I just can't decide if I want to get the 6 or 6 Pro...

I have thought about ditching VZ also for Tmo but tried Fi which supposedly was using their towers and call quality was terrible to VZ people. Right now quality is crystal clear VZ to VZ and Fi was two tin cans and string. I don't know if they integrated HD calling between carriers yet.

For what it's worth, I'm on Verizon and my other 4 family members are using iPhones on T-Mobile and we do have HD voice available when we call each other. It sounds great.

90% of my phone use is text or data driven. My family lives close and we see them often so if there's anything worth a phone call we usually just talk about it when we see each other.

My main gripe with Verizon is that at my home and work place I have BARELY 1bar so data sucks and I'm on an old 10GB shared plan. Home isn't normally an issue since I'm on wifi but if we lose power then I lose all connection to the outside world. The work connection issue though is incredibly frustrating bc I work right next to downtown. Like just 2 miles south. There's absolutely no reason my signal should be as bad as it is there.

I've been with VZW since before they were Verizon. But I wanted the 6 and T-Mobile gave me a deal of $4.21 a month for 2 years. I wasn't passing that up. I gave Verizon a call to see if they'd match but the associate literally told me nope about finding me something that would lower the price.
So 20+ years of loyalty is summed up by the word nope.
I'm getting the 6 shipped and I can't wait.

I told my brother about it and he made the switch yesterday and got a 6pro. I'm just trying to find a time where my wife and I can have someone watch our kids so we can go to best buy or something just to put our hands on the phones before hitting the "submit order" button.

I was in the same boat. I was with Verizon for 17 years. My bill was fine and the service was good but I travel 3 to 4 times a year and it would always cost $10 per line per day to use my phone in another country. So I switched to TMobile. TMobile paid off 3 iphones when I switched. I couldn't be happier. I got the pixel 6 when it 1st came out and I traded in a Pixel 3. TMobile gave me an even exchange. I got the Pixel 6 for free because I get bill credits of $24 per month for the phone.
