t-mo S7 Edge severe lag since July security update

Hi Everyone:

After last week's July 1 security update, my phone within 1 day started exhibiting the type of lag normally associated with TW of 3 years ago after 6 months.

I did a hard/factory reset, and that resolved the issues. But by last night, 4 or 5 days later, my phone was crawling again.

I looked at recently installed apps and uninstalled anything recent. Didn't help. Finally I reset system cache. They resolved it again. Wondering if that's it, offer this will happen again.

Mine isn't doing it, don't really know what could be causing it. Maybe an app that's consuming too many resources? You can also try setting up the automatic reboot setting; that should keep your phone's cache cleared more often without you doing anything. Downside is you'll have to input your password instead of fingerprint after every reboot and you'll have to dismiss those pesky 'too loud' volume warnings again after every reboot.

I've noticed lag after the update.. it comes and goes and usually a reboot corrects the issue. I haven't yet did a factory reset and we'll probably do it and see if it helps.

Mine has definitely been having a little more lag since that update I believe. It seems to be pretty random I don't know. I'm trying to remember to clear cache and reboot more often.
