T-Mobile App Won't Work

Has anyone on T-Mobile using the LG v30 have a problem with the app saying update when you try to open and when clicking update says try again ?

Is the app saying that there's an updated version in the Play Store? If you go to the Play Store's app page for the T-Mobile app, does it say Update there?
