Loving my new G4 play. Everything works awesome. Except T-mobile app. I download and say accept or what ever and it trys to setup. Then just says something went wrong. Cannot get into the app to see usage, ect. I can web it but rather use the app.

I downloaded an old apk version 5.9.7.11. It works great. Tells usage minutes - data etc. But the latest version does not. A shame as the latest version works on my galaxy s4. Not sure why G4 Play does not work.

I know this is old news but it works now how great.

The phone was slowing down and filled up with too much junk. So I factory reset and now it works. The new tmobile app. No need for the old apk.

Either the phone was not right to begin with somehow and factory resetting fixed it. Or they just updated the app and now its compatible. Either way I am happy it works now. So I don't need a tmobile branded phone after all. Only for wifi calling and that is about it. But I don't need that. I got their cell booster that inhances the 4g lte by connecting into the back of my wifi. So all is good now.
