Hello to all. I received this T-Mobile notification today. Usually, I am more resourceful, but I have a family member on a ventilator fighting for his life from the covid-19 & his wife is sick quarantined at home alone. I'm stressed & as I am trying to find what this is, all my mind is retaining is 'blah blah blah...blah blah. It looks like possibly a walk through, but I don't want to accidentally install more bloat by opening it up.

I received the android 10 update 2 weeks back & the March security patch 2 days ago. In all my many years of T-Mobile I've never had this pop up. Any answer would be appreciated. Thanks for you time.

T-Mobile Locked s9+.

Haven't seen in all my years owning a tmobile Samsung phone, what happens when you tap it ?

Did you see this? The steps to remove the notification should be pretty straightforward. https://www.t-mobile.com/support/plans-features/t-mobile-appselector

So sorry to hear about your family member's health battle. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

1st of all, Thank You for warm wishes. It's truly appreciated.

2nd, Thanks for the link. That answered my questions. No blah blah blah this time. :)

I'll just uninstall Appselector.
I noticed yesterday that Appselector needed an update & thought where did that come from?
I was too tired to worry about it, but that bright magenta notification that arrived this morning was harder to ignore.

Bless you, Thanks again.

I've had T-mobile Samsungs since the Galaxy s5, coming from the Blackberry world, and yes this is a first.

My initial thought it was a marketing deal, but I wasn't sure. I didn't click on the notification as I was afraid that I'd see the words 'Download Started'. ( Big Chicken :) ) That large arrow on the right side of the notification made me nervous. So I came here to the best Android forum in the world for help.

Thank You.

Thank you for your warm wishes of blessing & I return them to You, B. Diddy, and all the other wonderful members of Android Central!!

As I proceeded to delete the T-Mobile notification, I found a drop down on the notification & it revealed a message that stated, 'Complete your update. Click here.'
I was attempting to take a screenshot, but another notification came in and snapped the drop down shut. I tried to reopen the drop down, but it launched the browser to a blazing bright magenta T-Mobile page with a overlay error message that said 'Opps, something went wrong, try again later.' (Seems like I made this quite difficult.) :) Now we know the end result of the notification. On to the uninstallation.

Thanks again... Stress level has dropped a notch!
