I know there were people who were interested in the S7/ S7 edge and not the Note 7 (due to price). Buy One Get One Free deal is here but only for today and it doesn't include the Note 7. This just posted on Flipboard 2 hours ago.

It's a bill credit so almost like a contract till it's paid off.

Shame the note 7 isnt there . s7 Edge is awesome , honestly its almost the same phone .. almost. I have one now but still gonna upgrade to the note ... ahh the addiction :(

It is a finance contract,as opposed to a service contract that tmobile got rid of. Both have 2 year commitment, just with different terms. Many people hate service contracts and prefer finance contracts.

Eh -- same thing. Different term. Just like some say "Activation fee" versus "Assisted Services" fee -- same thing at the end of the day.

Finance and pay it off the first month...at least that's what I do when I want a deal.

You can't. The BOGO part is a bill credit. As in they credit the cost of the phone. If you leave or whatever you have to pay the entire amount of the phone. Basically you won't get the phone fully paid off unless you stay there for 24 months or whatever it is.

Too many people milked them on the s7 bogo promotion probably...

Tell that to John Legere

Why? I am not shocked they're doing it. I don't buy into the uncarrier stuff as much as you and others ;). I just take advantage when they offer things. I still know very well they're a carrier and they want money over all no matter how much they act like they do it to be "my buddy" or "good customer service".

I am just amused by it is all. 😉

Meh it is the same to me as them all being the "best" or "fastest" or Sprint saying they have Verizon coverage. All can be found to be amusing :).

Every carrier is out to get money, every company is out to make money. If they weren't, they'd go out of business.

Exactly this, with the Galaxy S7 Edge many of us got the credit on the Visa card and simply paid off the phone. At that point we were free to port the line out or just cancel it. If that happened a lot that's why they decided to go ahead and do it this way this time.
