T-Mobile call forwarding not supported!?

I've noticed that my Galaxy Watch doesn't forward my calls from my phone when I take the watch out alone and am on LTE, like I could with my Gear S3. Anyone else having this problem? The T-Mobile rep I talked to on Twitter yesterday thought this function should be supported, and was surprised when she opened up her own Galaxy Watch app and couldn't find it.

Any insight from other Galaxy Watch owners would be much appreciated!

Mine was the same way. I spent about 3 hours on the phone with tech and digits and finally got it working. Best bet is to call 611 and ask for tech or digits. Make sure you have some time though.

Had to take mine to the store. Something about the SIM number not being recognized. they finally fixed it after about a hour.

My store never even set my watch up with a number. I've yet to visit a tmobile store in my area with an intelligent employee.

Thanks everyone. I think I'll try calling 611 to see what's up.

Funny thing is that I get LTE and data...I just can't forward my phone number to my watch number when I'm on LTE.

Wife just hers today. Bixby wont work, which is understandable.
Is there wifi calling on the watch?

My watch had lte as well but no phone number assigned to it and wouldn't sync with my note. So, I couldn't make calls or text.

Got home late today due to an outing with my coworkers. I tried calling T-Mobile but there was a 45 minute wait. Figure I'll take care of it tomorrow.
@JREwing, none of the T-Mobile supported smartwatches have wi-fi calling. But when you connect to the network via LTE, your watch will connect to your phone remotely, and you should get your calls to your phone forwarded to your watch. It would appear something ain't right here on T-Mobile's end, perhaps when they're registering the watches' eSIMs.

As for Bixby...yeah, that was a fail. And this is coming from someone who's a fan of Bixby on the phones!

I will say that overall I love the Galaxy Watch and don't regret picking it up. But these minor issues are irksome.

Is this issue the same as identified in the other thread in this forum in that Digits isn't working with non-Samsung phones? What phone are you trying to do this with?

No, I think that's different. I'm not trying to get my numbers to look the same to outside callers. I'm trying to forward calls from my phone to my watch when I am on LTE.

I talked to T-Mobile yesterday and they said this isn't possible. It looks like they're trying to force everyone into Digits plans to squeeze out that extra $5 a month from us. My wearable plan is $5/month, whereas a Digits line would be $10.
