I know the pre-orders won't be live till later tonight (12 AM for most) but I figure getting a thread going where people can discuss their thoughts about their pre-order with their carrier/store in mind wouldn't hurt, right? ;).

Sound off below if you're getting one... Oh don't forget to mention which color you're thinking of!

I got a guy who works for t mobile.... So it's easy to just walk in at open on the 15th...and get 2 set(me and wife) and JoD from my S8plus. Plus.. He always throws in cases or whatnot for free. And... I don't have to wait for ups guy as I did last year to wait. Incase anyone decides to steal ups packages.

So when tmob offers up to $425 for a trade in (I have a s7E which currently worth $141 for tmob trade in) for former N7 owners, how would this be a better deal then jump?
I am currently eligible for jump (just in time) and could switch to an N8 without paying jump fees. I would send them my S7E and get an N8 with an higher monthly payment. (30-->39).

If I dont use jump and keep paying this S7E (another 12 months=$360), trade it in for $425 and then get a N8 I would safe whopping $65. Wow.

I don't see a real motivation here. Or am I missing something? I do have to keep paying the S7E if I trade it in without jump, correct?

They're talking about Jump on Demand. Jump is different. That's what I have. So I guess it's the EIP option.

Jump On Demand you can Jump to a new phone several times a year, no need for paying current device down by half. My JOD phone is an LG G6. Tmobile said once I get the Note 8, I simply turn in the LG G6 at a local store. Also have an S8+ but I plan to keep that as an extra for awhile.

The good news for phone Jumpers is JoD now allows a new phone every 30 days, up to 12 times per year.

So I'm using the V20, I'm paying the monthly payments and I'm part of the JUMP program, can I upgrade to JoD when I jump to the Note 8? Or would I have to fully pay off the V20 first? JoD sounds like it's a good deal for me personally and no down-payment for the Note 8 is very tempting.
