Does anyone know when tmobile will be ready to release marshmallow for the galaxy s5? I know they usually do a lot of testing so it doesn't have any bugs but it seems to be taking an awfully long time.

Looks like I'm going back to lollipop... that is one of the worst sites I have ever been on.... it takes 30 minutes to register, they besiege you with ads, and then when you finally reach the download they expect you to wait 2 hrs?! It usually takes 10 min to download a file of that size.....

Did you not download marshmallow over the air?

I just received a notification for update for the T-Mobile S5. Hells yeah baby! About time! I didn't ever think we would be getting it.

I have an AT&T S5 unlocked on the T-Mobile network. I understand I won't get the OTA update but will I be able to download the T-Mobile update another way?

You will not be able to flash T-Mobile (USA) firmware for the G900T model to an AT&T phone, G900A. Unless you are registered on the AT&T network, that is the end of your updates I am afraid.

I've downloaded OTA 3 times already, and gotten error messages each time, T-Mobile G900T.

I did the download last night I have used the phone most of the day today I don't know what the hell the big deal about marshmallow is my phone does not do anything better or more efficiently now than it did before when it was on lollipop as a matter of fact I cannot even update the Samsung voice recorder

Thanks for the info. I have read in other places that I may be able to download the AT&T update on WiFi or by slipping the AT&T Sim card in just to download it. How true it is I'm not sure, guess I'll find out when they get around to releasing their update.

Looks like all I had to do was wait for T-Mobile to notify me of the update instead of checking for software updates myself. Downloaded on its own and installed just fine.
