Has anyone been able to preorder this with jump on demand? I was told I had to go into the store to do it and I wondered if anyone else had the same issue.

So I have Jump! Not JoD but...

I didn't this time but when I do I usually send a message to T-Mobile on Twitter. Never did have a issue all the times I've done it.

I've been on JOD since the ill-fated Note 7. It was great for a long time, but then they started tacking on some huge down payments. All the while, Samsung started upping their game on trade-in value. I had the S21 Ultra on JOD, and when I went into the store to ask about a JOD upgrade to the S22 Ultra they told me it'd be $532 to go to the 512 GB version. Especially given that I didn't upgrade to the Fold 3 this summer, that didn't seem worth it, so I just paid off my JOD balance and went through Samsung.com.

With trade in credits, I'm getting an S22 Ultra for about $450 + trading in my old device! And that's not even including the $250 in accessory credits.

Oh...just noticed you never asked "is it worth it?" Sorry, so to answer your actual question: yeah T-Mobile said I could do it in the store or via Twitter. I live down the road from a store which is why I went in. But like I said, didn't actually go through with it.

I'm on JOD and I did it over the phone, for some reason we are not able to do it on T-Mobile website. I didn't have a trade in and just had to pay sales tax of $164 unlike my Note 20 Ultra (which I'm keeping) where I had to put down like $650.

I was finally able to do it after talking to 2 different people. As for if it’s worth it probably not anymore. It used to be great before all the down payments but not anymore. I think this is the last time I’m going to use it.
