If it was my primary phone it might be more of a big deal. But for a phone that literally costs me one dollar and some change a month, it's whatever...Wow that's pretty lame though. Android 14 has been out quite a while. This is why I'll never buy another Moto ever again.

It's still a decent phone all things considering
I will agree with you on the OS upgrade but on the updates they have got way better than they have in the past. They promised every other month on security updates and that has been consistent, they also promised 3 OS upgrades, they just didn't say WHEN those would drop. I figured they were waiting on their newer devices to drop.Yes I agree. I find The 2024 version especially appealing. But Moto refuses to issue consistent updates to their devices. To just now be releasing android 14 is pathetic IMO.
Don't get me wrong, it is great to hear that they have fulfilled their promises so far with your Razr Plus. They have done so with other Motorola phones as well. However, other buyers have not been so lucky. So, my warning to potential Motorola buyers is that software updates/upgrades cannot be taken for granted irrespective of what is promised. If that is a risk you are willing to take, they make pretty decent phones (I've owned 4 of them) at a pretty decent price.Whereas that might be true, they so far have stuck to the every other months security patches as promised last year. Infact I reviewed july's security patch 2 days after my os upgrade. They never made any promises on OS upgrades except that they would push 3 of those.
