T-Mobile Updates for Locked Phones

Has T-MOBILE forgotten about security updates? My last update was June and before that February. I am still not feeling this T-MOBILE/Sprint merger. My service is not the same. It really sucks now. Places I had service I no longer have it.

I feel ya, I haven't switched over my Sim because there just isn't any Tmo service in my area. I don't know what's going to happen when they switch off Sprint 4g next year, I hope they just transition the Sprint towers to Tmo, but who knows?

And I also agree about the updates, I'm on the same schedule you are, skipping months of security updates. Right now, not a fan of Tmo. For all the complaining people do about Sprint, I've never had issues with them like I do with with Tmo.

Sounds like they have put you on quarterly updates.

I have an unlocked version with Tmobile Sim and have started updating using the method described in the sticky about universal firmware updates. Using Frija and Odin work well and is easier the more I update with it.

T-Mobile is weird like that.. Sometimes you get updates first or every two months.

They've always been hot & cold

Not every security update has essential or high priority content. So I guess t-mobile and Verizon only send put updates when they feel its necessary.
