Greetings everyone,
In the last week or so, T-Mobile released their latest patch which included a Stagefright patch. It rendered my daughter's phone unable to hear or be heard on phone calls. I did some searching of T-Mobile's forums which had several great ideas that made sense, like hand gestures were causing it to mute calls, Google now engaging the mic, etc. Tried all of them, nothing. I downloaded an older version of firmware and using ODIN, fixed it and yes, everything seemed fine. My silly daughter accidentally is at work and she upgraded it again, and yes can't hear phone calls. I am curious, haven't seen this posted here so here I am looking for some wisdom before I reload it again via ODIN again. Anyone else have any problems? I find it ironic that as soon as that firmware reloads it kills the point of using our smartphone as a phone. Thoughts? I'm going to post this at T-Mobile and see the response I get as well.
Thanks!
