Ever since I have my Tab S 10.5, I have an issue (even occurred during the initial setup of the tab) of random freezes like this one in the video:
youtube, /watch?v=nmnXL-xqtNA&feature=youtu.be (sorry for the weird link, I don't have 10 posts so I can't insert full ones)
It freezes, stops responding for about 10 seconds, the screen flickers in a weird way and then restarts. It does that randomly, sometimes after minutes, sometimes after hours, and has nothing to do with a specific app that I use.
I already did a factory reset on it, but still runs kitkat.

Do you have any idea what could it be, or at least how to get a decent logfile from the crash?

Thanks for any help!

If it's been happening since you got it, you should have returned it a few hours after you got it, at the latest.

If it's still under warranty, return it. If not, you'll have to pay for the repair. It looks like a problem on the motherboard. (It could be corrupt firmware, so if it's not in warranty, you could try reflashing the ROM. See [Samsung] How to flash Stock ROM via ODIN.)

The device is still on kit kat, you can try re downloading the software, or reflashing the device. You can also go through samsung's manufacture warranty which should be covered as a manufacturer defect if you can't return it.

Thanks for all the help! I returned it for repair (still under warranty), and going to get it back tomorrow. The mail they sent oddly said "changed parts: touch screen + brown LCD COF + LCD software update". Hope that was it, indeed..
