Tab 2 10.1 issues

Hello
Am new to the forum ,
have a issue with my Tab 2 10.1
sign into the Tablet and was read to type a message and the unit froze up , I can not shut the Tablet off and its making a clicking sound
the key board is also frozen
any ideas what I can do to solve this issue?

Welcome to Android Central! We really need more detailed information. What do you mean by "sign into the tablet"? Was this when you turned it on and had to input a password? Are you saying the tablet told you to type something? Was this the password screen? Do you know the password, and are you certain you entered it correctly?

Yes, I turned on the Tablet and was typing a message when it froze up and then would make a clicking sound from the speakers.. i could not even turn it off ,
i had a issue with it asking for a Samsung password the day before but it allowed me to continue
is there a Reset feature or ???

What app were you using when you were typing the message? Was it an email? A text message?
