Tab freezing

My tab used to just occasionally stick, but now it just freezes up altogether and locks. It will either eventually catch up or I have to power down and up. Anyone else having this issue? I still think it may have something to do with dictionary.com. originally, I thought it was weather channel.and removing that certainly did help.

Mine does the same thing from time to time. I dont know which app it is but it has to be one of them. Before i installed all of my apps it ran perfect with no freezes for the first week and a half that i had it.

Same here,worked fine then just started progressively getting worse. I added software to watch for spikes in cpu usage, but it doesn't show anything, except for wall street journal taking up a lot of cpu even when I'm not using it.

I'm having similar problems, but more often than not, after freezing for a minute or more, my Tab just reboots. It seems to happen more frequently when I'm in the browser than other places. I think I've also seen some issues when switching between Thumb Keyboard and Smart Keyboard Pro. I think I'm going to uninstall all non-essential programs and see if there's improvement before doing a complete wipe.

I've just went and hard reset the whole device because mine also started spontaneously resetting after it woukd freeze. I'm going to take.my time and add back apps, but being careful to not reinstall certain apps. I did notice that it would oftwn occur while typing, but I only use the standard keyboard not even Swype. I also notice it would also start freezing when I tried to switch tabs. I'm wondering if the last firmware update had a problem.

Update: did the hard reset and specifically did not install dictionary.com, nor the weather channel. And it's working really well now. Let's see if that holds.

Mine will lag a little once or twice a week and a restart always seems to fix the issue. I'm wondering if there are a few apps out there that are slowing down our Tabs or causing them to just lock up.
