Tab not booting fully

My Tab was running really sluggish so I rebooted it. It then would not boot up again. It was low battery so I figured it just needed a charge. I put it on the charger and it showed charging. I left it there overnight to charge. When I got up I tried turning it on. It would show the Samsung splash screen, then the SAMSUNG logo, but stay on that and never boot. I also tried holding down the POWER and VOL + as usually that would bring up the recovery boot section, but it is not working...

Any suggestions? :S

Its the WiFi version

mine is doing the same thing i tried using odin to flash the stock rom and it says nits successful but the issue remains

Sad to say that as of this morning I am in the same boat. I get the logo and the galaxy animation but it never finishes booting. If I leave it long enough the galaxy animation will show again, I suspect it is looping over and over.

I put it to charge last night, and as is sometimes the case this morning it was charged but "off".So I booted. It took me to that weird black screen with the words "Entering upload mode...; upload_cause: undefined" that I sometimes see. Then it booted fully. But immediately all the apps (system, gmail, calendar) FC'd at once. So I powered it off and tried to reboot, and I haven't gotten past the galaxy animation/logo since.

Now it's also showing me a completely garbled image when trying to boot.

This looks pretty bad... any ideas?

Mine is a Google-io2011 wifi.

I've got a google i/o tab that is doing the same thing. I called samsung tech support and they said that a software update was pushed to the device in the last two weeks or so that is bricking to google i/o versions. I haven't seen anything on any of the blog sites about an update and I have auto update disabled so I don't see how it could be updated unless google is forcing the update. In any case they gave me an RMA number and a free shipping label to send it back to be reimaged. I just hope they send the same one back because I like the cool Android back on it. Has anyone else had experience sending one of these in for repair?

swindelljd,

Did you send your tablet in? Any idea when you are getting it back?

I am going to have to do the same and I am wondering what the experience is like as well.
