I am trying to find a good app that I can video chat my wife on through Wi-Fi only. The problem is, my wife is an apple girl, she has an I pad, I have a Tab s. I am going to be deployed for several months and would like to find a good app that we can video chat flawlessly between the two systems. Thanks for any help.

Skype works really well on both platforms, and with PCs too.

Try Facebook Messenger, tried it already with my brother's ipad mini, mine is Tab S it works just fine...

Skype offers video and voice only, whereas messenger offers voice only chatting. But if the network is slow, you might want to stay on voice only chatting.
