Tab S10+ and S10Ultra

Anyone going for these? They're on the site for preorder, but I have to take a closer look at whats better, if anything, before I consider one. I hear the SD isn't used for the tabs this year.

Specs are listed on their site for comparison, and the S10 line still maintains the SD Card slot. Compared to last year's tablets, the main differences is the anti-glare coating on the screen (but same resolution and display tech underneath) and the move from Qualcomm's chips to MediaTek's with, in theory, processing and GPU marginal improvements. Everything else (including the AI features that are already on the S9 with the latest updates) is the same.

Thanks!! It sounds like a pass for now. I'd be paying over $600 for 512gb, which is what I have in my S9+. Doesn't sound like $600 worth of upgrade.

Why spend $650 to upgrade from the 9+? I'll wait, besides I just got the 9+ a couple weeks ago. Thought maybe I should have waited to trade in the 8+, but it would have cost $265 more to get the 10+, so all in all I'm happy I made the move when I did. The only reason I moved to the 9+ was to get the carrier version over the wifi.

Why spend $650 to upgrade from the 9+? I'll wait, besides I just got the 9+ a couple weeks ago. Thought maybe I should have waited to trade in the 8+, but it would have cost $265 more to get the 10+, so all in all I'm happy I made the move when I did. The only reason I moved to the 9+ was to get the carrier version over the wifi.

Whether I need a new device or not, I look at every new release. I've had the 6, 7, 8 and 9 (plus models) but the upgrades were around $400 or less, making the trade in price more than what I paid originally.

I'm familiar with SD chip, but not media tech, and there really seems to be nothing extra or interesting in the 10. The final price is also all wrong, so it's a no for me.

I'm way behind! I have the Tab s8 Ultra with its nice Book Cover Keyboard. It's a beautiful device, unfortunately, I don't use it very much. I seem to gravitate to my Tab s6, probably because of its portability.

So until I'm hit with that wow factor, I guess I'll just wait. It's a little sad cause I think the wow factor days are behind us. I hope I'm wrong.

I don't know anything about MediaTek either. It will be interesting to see how that plays out.

I'm still using an S6 Lite. I don't use it much, so I don't have any reason to upgrade, even though this new one looks awesome.

Absolutely waste upgrade for me, but I'm a sucker

At least I went for a different color this time. In seriousness, I'm excited for the anti reflective screen on the S10 Ultra as I use it for watching a lot of content.

I was looking at getting a tablet just to use at work on breaks to watch my recorded shows and you tube videos. I thought for just that lets look at the A9 plus but I read no that's more for kids and the screen isn't that great for what I want get an S model. Plus I can have a pen. Well I am getting a bonus at work next month and with my work discount and Samsung sent me another $30 promo code I think by mistake I can get the S10 plus for 869.99 plus 10% c ash back with my app and the slim cover keyboard is free which sells for $159.99. Is that a good deal? I like how if you use pay pal you can do 4 monthly payments at no interest also. I have nothing to trade in.

I did look at the S9FE plus and the S9 plus but I do like the idea of the free slim cover keyboard case. Is it any good does anyone use it? I guess for not much more I should get the 10 and have the latest. The Ultra is too expensive and I think and big for me I will be fine with the plus. It's just a big purchase and I have a Chromebook I use at home all the time I just hate dragging it back and forth to work.

My opinion and it's just that...if all you're wanting it for is breaks at work, I would just use your phone. The tablet is decent sized to carry around just for breaks at work. I take mine to work, but I also use it for work.

The A series is junk, hardly good enough for kids. If you're going to get one the S series is the way to go, but it comes at a price.

It is nice to have the tablet at home, I have it set up so my calls and texts will go to the tablet. It's nice, I just lay the phone on counter when I'm home watching TV, everything just comes to the tablet. I am a person that TV is mostly background sound.

Thanks someome else said don't get the A series. I will use it when I go out of town and maybe some at home. I have a Chromebook at home it's just big and heavy and I hate dragging it around. I'm still deciding but am considering the s10 plus. I was looking at other ones too cause of prime day. I wanted to get it and pick up at BB cause it's in stock if I get it but since you get the free keyboard case that isn't an option. I am looking at the 9 FE plus also. I keep changing my mind on what I want.

I do use my phone at work but would like a bigger screen to watch my show and still be able to check my phone also. I do get my text on my Chromebook and use it alot when sitting on the couch just a pain to take to work and other places and it can be used in tablet mode but It feels weird with the keyboard on the other side. It's too big.

I ordered the S10 plus and then I ended up canceling I don't know I was wondering if there'd be a better deal around Black Friday and then I thought I've got my Chromebook I don't really need that expensive of a tablet just for work I'll just get some cheap little thing at some other time unless there's really good deals on Black Friday.

I have a question I did a chat but am still worried and it sounds to good to be true. I realized under the S10 not the 9 under trade in there is an option for Other under tablet trade in. We have a very old Asus Transformer tablet that charges and turns on but of course it's very slow and specs are horrible cause it's so old. But under Other it says estimated trade in value $300 and I was told by chat and on phone just now as long as it is reset powers on and has no cracks in the screen I will get $300 even though it's not even worth $50 and I told them that. I know how people have problems sometimes with trade-ins and I will take pictures of course. My husband doesn't believe it which is why I called.

But they were giving away the slim keyboard case free but now I can get the 512 for the price of the 256 plus my $120 health care discount making it 594.99 if they accept my 300. But they did say if for some chance I don't get approved I have 14 days to return the tablet. Has anyone done this before and do you think I'll get $300. I am sending the charger and all since it's so old?

It's no different then the phone trade in values, they are giving you a promotional value for the trade in. They give $1,000+ trade in values on phones and they aren't worth $1,000. Just like the phone trade-ins there's a high chance you won't get a denial or approval for the trade-in before the 14 days is up on return eligibility so take that and consideration. I figured that and it's such an old Asus tablet but the 512 S10 Plus sells for 1119 I get it for $849 plus an extra $105 work discount and I had almost 200 in my paypal from cash back apps and I got an extra $63 on this 10% back it was 12 went to 3 and I waited and it went to 10. But yeah I asked about will I get my response within 14 days but I decided I'll keep it and try to sell my Chromebook and then buy the keyboard case maybe. I just was told by 3 people know matter the age other means if it turns on and isn't cracked and charges and works I'll get $300 my husband didn't believe it.

I chose to have it picked up at Best Buy which I've never done but it'll be here the end of the week verses a week later. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. But figuring in all my discounts and my money in my paypal it was $630 I used my $200 in my paypal and I'll get another $63 in my Rakuten and I think it was a good deal I got the free memory upgrade which I didn't really care about. A couple weeks ago it was the slim keyboard cover free which sells for 159.99 but I only got 70 off than an email said get an extra 30% and it went to $105 and said free memory upgrade early black frday deals so I did it.
