Tab S2 8" on AT&T in the US?

Amazon carries an international version of the 8" Tab S2. There are conflicting comments in the Q&A about how well it will work on AT&T in the US. Some say it will work but only at 4G speed and not LTE. Another commenter says this version will never be able to receive Android updates and will be forever stuck on the version of Lollipop that it ships with.

Can anyone clarify this? What options do I have for getting an 8" S2 on AT&T in the US?

i have the S2 (T715Y) international version from Amazon and i'm using it on AT&T w/LTE connectivity. i inserted a sim from my Note5 dual-sim device and the S2 connected to at&t data and voice calls in less than 2 minutes. LTE speeds are consistent with what i get on my Note5. OTA's, well that is a concern, but (for me) not one to deter my purchase. i haven't seen/read anything official from Samsung so it's "wait and see". hope this is helpful to you.
