So the tab s3 is now officially a year old. Should I wait for tab s4 (comming out probably next year) or get the tab s3 for 100 dollars off. Those leaked benchmarks of the alleged tab s4 seems promising. But my birthday is on the 13th and I want a tablet. I'm just not sure if the tab s4 is worth waiting until my birthday next year for. Does anyone know how long software support the s3 last for?

Thanks guys

Get the S3. It is the best tab out there. I have one and I absolutely love it. The screen is absolutely amazing.

If you need a tablet now, I don't think you can really go wrong with the S3 from a hardware standpoint. Samsung is its usual self when it comes to patching security holes (KRACK was left unpatched until MARCH) but that needs to be understood as a whole with that company.

I admit - it's not as snappy as my Pixel 2, but in the Android tablet world it's probably the best option out there. Battery life is incredible also. The Huawei Mediapad devices are likely going away, and Samsung was the ONLY manufacturer offering more than 32 GB of internal storage and a 10" display - Best Buy has a 128 GB version and it's the only place you can get it.

Yeah! I have the 32GB version and I absolurely LOVE IT! Ecxellent for gaming, photo and video viewing (the display is the absolute best I have ever seen), and the audio quality beats 99% of other devices (it literally sounds like you are in the same room that the singer is singing in!). Only downside is if you play ultra-heavy games for way to long or run the GPU at max load for too long it sometimes will cut the framerate in half due to throttling. This doesn't affect mid-level graphics games like GTA very much (again, this is the BEST gaming tablet out there), but running tech demos alot and running benchmarks repeatedly will set off the throttling pretty quickly. Battery life is petty decent (3~4hrs SoT). It has 4K video recording, etc... If you need a case with auto sleep magnets that do not dame S-pen functionality, get the Tucano flip cover case. Also, depending on where you live, you may have to pay a whopping 855 euros for the 32GB LTE version like I did!
