With the imminent release of the Tab S8, do you think the S7 will be available to buy for less than $500? Do you think it's worth it to buy a used one for ~$400-$450 on Swappa? Or should I just bite the bullet and finance a new S7 from Samsung?

I just bought an S7 new from Samsung for less than anything on Swappa. For an S7 with 256 gb, I got it for about $400 plus $99 for the keyboard. $200 off, plus work discount, plus $10% Rakuten rebate. A no-brainer for me. Add some tax, and the total was around $520 with tax for the tablet and keyboard.

Well I guess I won't be getting a Tab S7 anytime soon because they raised the price back up to $649 for the 128gb S7. Unless the Tab S8 is a decent price. If I could get an S21 FE or S22 and a Tab S7/S8 for the same monthly payment as my current S21 Ultra, I'd do it and sell it on Swappa. I may end up having to buy a slightly used S7 on Swappa for ~$500.

I question why you didn't grab one during the holidays, thing was like $300 off for a month.

I have no idea. Or maybe I wasn't looking for one then. Anyway, I'm now loou at a Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021. I can get one on Banggood for $400. Or I'll buy a used S7 on Swappa as the Lenovo doesn't come with a stylus and there are a lot more features with the S Pen. But the question is how much would I actually use the S Pen.

It was $300 off with a trade in. It had been $500 without a trade in.

It was still more than I wanted to pay. Then I saw the education discount price a few days ago and I almu jumped on it.

I use the S-Pen all the time on my 57+ . I mostly choose to use handwriting input when using my case without a keyboard.
