Tab S7 series (SMT878U) Pen issue

My grandson can't get Photoshop on his computer to recognize the Tab S7 pen. Can someone help me please? I'd like to figure this out for him. Thank you for your time!

He has Photoshop on a computer (Windows or Mac) and wants to use the Tab S7 pen? It doesn't work that way.

If he's trying to use it on the tablet, make sure the pen is charged...

The pen does not have to be charged to work try rebooting the tablet to see if that works. If not email the app you are using to see if it works with a s pen.
