Tabbing (next and previous) between fields

Hi
I am loving my new Nexus 7 and like thumb typing, one thing that bugs is the inability to tab between fields or use the next / previous buttons they have on the iPad keyboards.

The reason for the post is just to confirm with the experts that this feature is not available or find out how to do it if it is possible

somethings on the android os hasnt been thought out for convenience. like a next button when there are many input boxes in forms. also websites that have input boxes have the cursor flashing in it but the keyboard doesn't come up. the user has to tap on the box to get the keyboard up.

This might be available on a third party keyboard but I'm not sure. Different keyboards have different features.

Yes I have htc sense on my inspire. Some custom stock ROM just for having less bloatware. I also cant recall now what keyboard it is.

But I have forward and back arrows. Having to move my hand/fingers from bottom to top and try and move cursor around is a pain on the ,N7 in comparison
