Tablet Edition Apps

I’m thinking about picking up a Nook Color for reading books and news, playing simple games, and some video and audio. I don’t need it to have tons of power but the one thing I would really like to have access to tablet edition apps like NYTimes, Wall St. Journal and Pulse. Is this realistic with CM7, or do we have to wait for a proper port of Honeycomb?

These can run fine on FROYO (sd as well emmc)
I like the current sd version better
