Tablet Talk vs. TabletSMS battery consumption

So, I have read the many differences, pros and cons from the different apps. Basically, one will sync phone and tablet by wifi or bluetooth, the other allows push notifications to sync sms. Obviously the latter requires data network, which I have. My question is, which is best as far as battery consumption alone. I am going to run experiments with them both, but I just wanted to see what you thought. Basically it breaks down to, Bluetooth connection vs. getting push message notifications every time I get a text. Again this is simply about battery consumption. Just curious. I probably will keep both apps, but I am trying to decide which one to use on a regular basis.
