Tablet won't go to sleep

For the past couple of weeks, my tablet has decided to never go to sleep. If the screen is off, it will still be awake. Kills my battery life. No matter if I manually disable wifi or anything like that, it will not sleep. Even tried factory resetting it to no avail(and didn't re-install anything as a test). The developer setting to always be awake is not checked... I ran GSam battery monitor yesterday, and the android kernel used most of the battery. On the stock battery monitor, it just says android os is keeping it awake. Any ideas? Time to get a hold of Asus?
