Tablets on Verizon with adoptable storage

I have an upgrade due to me on my tablet through Verizon, so I'm trying to find one that does adoptable storage (as the size that I want, ~8.0", tends to only have about 16 GB onboard). However, I'm reading of numerous manufacturers disabling adoptable storage on their devices. Would anyone have a list of Verizon tablets that do adoptable storage? The three that I am thinking about right now are the ASUS ZenPad Z8, LG G Pad X8.3, and Ellipsis 8.

I wasn't sure what you meant until I looked it up. I found this blog by our own Jerry...

Inside Marshmallow: Adoptable storage | Android Central

As I understand it, this is a Marshmallow or Android 6.0 feature, NOT necessarily a feature of the tablet so what you actually need is a tablet that is on 6.0 or upgrade-able to 6.0 AND that has an SD slot or USB port.

Not just that, but also a tablet in which neither the manufacturer nor Verizon have disabled it.

My personal feeling and an Android guy like yourself probably disagrees, would be that you go for the iPad. iPads are the best tablets. NOW before you get all Android high and mighty on me bear in mind that I DO own a One Plus Three, and have had many MANY Android phones and a few tabs too. ;)

So you're saying: :( these are not the Droids you are looking for :-$

(Did you miss your left turn at Albuquerque, @pkcable)? :D

I get what you're saying, but I'm heavily invested in the Android universe (I share apps between my phone and my tablet), and I don't need an iPad Mini. Besides, the iPad Mini doesn't have adoptable storage, because Steve Jobs hated MicroSD cards.
