After having the phone for two weeks the to earpiece/speaker is getting fuzzy. I never had it up to the highest limit either. I don't know what could of caused this.
Anyway, since this is a hardware problem would sprint look to see if my phone is rooted or would they not? Answers please.

Why would they I dont have a warranty. I have phone insurance that pays for me to get a replacement if needed. I talked to a sprint care representative and she said they would replace it.

Sprint's and asurion's terms of service state that rooted phones are not covered under warranty so if they say "no" don't freak. Just keep hitting Sprint stores until you get a cool employee that is willing to help but why don't you just un-root??

Good luck.

The noncorporate Sprint store by where I live doesn't. I even helped the rep root his Og evo..

Friday my daughter's rooted s3 is getting replaced. I've never had any issues because of being rooted. Opinions are gonna vary here as I'm sure as experiences also have

Well then its a tradeoff. Keep your fuzzy speakers and your root.

Or, unroot it, get it exchanged, and then root the new one.

Should be common sense, but I guess not...

I will unroot it. No need to bash on someone.
