Taking pictures while recording?

I just noticed that I am not able to take pictures while recording videos, whats up with that? the button on the screen is missing.

EDIT: How to enable option to take pictures while recording:
1. open the video recorder.
2. click settings.
3. turn off/uncheck anti-shake.
4. done. there should be a new icon on the screen allowing you to take pictures while recording videos. this icon will only show while you are recording.
if you are having problems, just reset the settings to default.

In your settings, when in the video mode, turn off the "anti-shake". Once you do that, you will be able to take pics while recording.

Works perfectly! Thanks for the tip. For those who are having a problem, notice the camera icon on the bottom right of the screen. While recording, click it to take a still photo. The recording will continue to record. You can later edit/delete what you've recorded/taken by clicking the little photo icon on the bottom right of the screen.

You have to scroll through the settings. Simply scroll up. Voila!

I've done this by taking a screenshot with the video paused (swipe the side of your hand horizontally across the screen to take screenshots). I suppose this will only produce a picture with maximum resolution equal to that of the phone's screen (1280x720), but it works. If you want to do it on your computer instead of your phone, just open the video file in VLC media player, click on the 'Video' menu at the top, and click 'Take Snapshot' at the bottom of the drop-down list. That would maximize your snapshot resolution to 1080x1920, assuming you recorded your video in full 1080HD

This function is only for taking pictures while recording video with the camera. Not taking pictures when playing a video. So the answer would be no.

I was able to take a picture when playing back a video
I can't do this anymore and I can't zoom in while playing back a video anymore??
I already reset the camera settings and turned off anti-shake, still not working???
