Taking SD card from og EVO into 3D?

Hey guys,

I have the orginal EVO now, my 8gig SD card it came with died and i purchased a 32g card thats in there now. My EVO3D arrives tomorrow and i'm giving my current evo to my gf.

What is the best way to swap my current sd card into the 3D? Would the below be what i should do?


1. mount the EVO 3D to pc, copy all of the SD card contents it came with to my computer.
2. mount my current evo 4g to pc, copy files from 3D sd card onto my 32g card
3. format 8g card from evo3d and put in original evo
4. put 32g card now with old 4g & original 3D data into new EVO 3d

I just don't want to lose all my app+data so that when i'm able to root the evo 3D i can do a titanium back up restore of those apps. As well as keeping all the 3D content that comes on the new device. Is this all sounding right? Am i way off base here?

That is how I did mine but I also thought that was why I was having issues with app icons disappearing, but alot of people are having issues with that problem.

I just backed up sd card on evo 4g with mybackup and started it off first time in 3d and all was good
