That's exactly what I was feeling. I am pretty sure the bionic will come out at some point..but not anytime soon. And I have this feeling it might be a bit of a disappointment because of all the hype.

I've jumped on board also. Coming from an AT&T iPhone 3g (Jailbroken of course). I grabbed one off Amazon.com for $149 w/2 yr agreement. I just couldn't pass it up. My wife has an LG Optimus V and although the service stinks (unless you play around with the PRL), the OS is great.

I haven't even registered it on the network or switched my phone number, but tonight I'm going to root it, update the radio, and put a clean ROM on it. This phone is very nice.

Bionic isn't canceled it is just delayed till mid summer for some retooling but knowing how these things go mid summer could easily be early/mid fall. The Thunderbolt is a very solid device and you will not be sorry
