I have a Galaxy A12 that I am trying to set up for my wife, who is visually impaired, to be able to use it. I have turned on the talkback and when I use it it works as expected. Demonstrating the capabilities, she feels like she could be able to use it.
One big problem. When she tries to double tap the phone, it does not respond to her double tap. She can do the two finger swipes and select various icons as expected with her finger(s) but not the double tap. She has tried different speeds of the double tap and cleaned her finger with alcohol swab and still no go.
I have also tried different sensitivity settings and still no go. A have called Samsung support with no suggestion from them that worked.
Any other way for her to answer an incoming call other than double tap?
I don't want to cut off one of my fingers for her, so any suggestions would be welcomed.
