TapaTalk email updates from HELL! How can I get the emails to stop?

TapaTalk email updates from HELL!!!!!

So last week I thought I'd install Tapatalk for the first time ever on my new S6 Edge. Big mistake, I'm now signed up for every update that Android Central, Crackberry, and Window Central have to offer. I've gone through the forum settings, and I've uninstalled Tapatalk but I cannot make the emails stop. I don't know what else to do, I'm getting 50 plus emails a day. I've posted on TapaTalks forums but no one has answered, I even just sent a message to people that run these forums to try and help.

If I can't get this figured out soon I'm going to have to kill this email address. However I'd really like to avoid doing this since I've had this email for the last 10 years.

Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!!!

I'm having the same problem. Can't turn off email notifications. Hopefully this will get fixed soon. But instead of blowing off your email address, can't you go into the webmail interface and setup a spam filter? Gmail and many other providers offer filtering. Fixed it for me...

OK I found the setting. After I turned everything off on these forums I still couldn't get it to stop. However I missed a setting because it looks like it's part of a picture and not an actual setting. Here's where to go.
Click on your profile pic at the top right, and select Follow Stream it as a gear next to it. Under that you see a picture that has Destop, Mobile, and Instant Email. Well for me under Instant Email the comments and Forums was checked. I've attached an image to show you how blind I was.

I can't find where my profile pic is in the upper right. When I tap my pic now, I only get the pop-up asking for Gallery or Camera to select a pic. I've looked on both tablet and phone.

Help, please?

Upper right corner in the green taskbar, between the Search icon (on the left) and the Menu hamburger (on the right).

Ahhh...not in the Tapatalk app - on the AC webpage. No wonder you couldn't find it.

The settings are here in Android Central not on the App on your phone.
