Task killers

Hey guys I wanted to get your guys opinions on task kiolers. Are they necessary? What exactly is the purpose of them? Thanks for the help guys

Do not use task killers. They actually do more harm than good. See unused ram is wasted ram, and that's why android phones tend to be memory hogs. But android is actually a great task manager of its own, and a task killer just messes things up
