Tasker Help

Just got Tasker because I like what it can do in theory. Just having some trouble with setting variables and things like that. My question is how do I set a task for a specific time? For instance how do I set the task for 6:45 am until 11:00 pm and then another task for 11:00 pm until 6:45 am, I am specifically talking about ringer/notification volumes.

...You... do see the "time" trigger when you're creating a profile, right?

I have profile setup called (bedside) from 11pm to 7am its in silent mode & I the led light is off. Then I have an exit task to turn everything back on.

I've been using Tasker for quite awhile and love it.

Just today I created a profile to lock/turn my screen off immediately when it's placed in my holster. Sweet!

I find tasker to be a bit over my head. I need something simpler lol. I might try locale.

I also have Locale but its nowhere near as powerful. Goto Tasker website and you'll see some great examples of of what you can do. It'll give you a good start and after that you'll be able to come up with your own profiles.

I guess I just need to give it more time and effort. Once I get some free time I will try some things. The potential is there, it just seems like there is a large learning curve.
